It was the same as the S2 finale, 40 minutes is not enough to do them justice. It’s amazing that they can cram them into 2 episodes and still make them good.

I honestly can’t find any major plot problems with Crystal Empire. The only real complaint I have about the premiers are that the stories are usually good enough to be a full movie, but only about a half hour long. So, I don’t know if it’s my bias, but I just think that the two parters would benefit greatly with more time, but whatevs. At least they did their best with em. There is no arguing that the continuity is derped in the S2 finale tho.

For all of its problems, the animation on these two episodes was really fantastic.
