Yes, but defining “Best pony” as “OPs favourite” would be wrong, since those two statements can only be subjectively the same, but are objectively different (as a lot of people who are not the OP would disagree with the definition on principle).

Technically speaking, OPs statement is also false. It’s actually objectively true that “X is best pony”, but only if we have a well defined meaning of “best”. If we defined best as “OPs favorite”, then it would be true that “X is best pony”. Then again, I can see that I’m kinda overlooking the fact of “LOL IMAGE MACRO” and expecting some amount of thought beforehand…

Your analysis is in error. “Best” and “favorite” are two different concepts. It’s entirely possible for a pony to be the best at something, or the best overall without being anybodies favorite.
 
Fluttershy, for example, is best pony when it comes to motherly style caring and love.
 
Twilight, the Mary Sue that she is, is best pony overall.
