There are professionals out there who make a living because they have a very good understanding of how typography carries a message. If you have ever scrolled through you entire list of fonts to find what font looks best for your homework assignment, I think we can all understand that typography really does have an impact.

People who would filter out comic sans would do so for the same reason why people would filter out pony creator images, if that is helpful to mention.

I read the tag, actually. I did not know what chalkboard looked pike because there were three typefaces to look at. I still think the typography carries an awkward message for the exact same reason why comic sans is usually misused.

What is everyone’s damage with Comic Sans? Do you all hate it because it’s cool to, or do you legitimately find something wrong with the font? For God’s sake, this site even has a tag for it so people can FILTER out posts that have text written in it!

So, you didn’t actually bother to read the tags that were already there at all , did you? Here’s a hint: it’s called “Chalkboard”, it’s a Mac system font, and it doesn’t actually look like Comic Sans at all.
