The Federal Loan repayment program is for 3 years, not ten.
 
And you can also join the military for a loan repayment program but the service is usually 4 years instead but you also get the bonus of free medical care from the VA and first pick of government jobs after your discharge.

Well, to be honest, the US has a program where if you work for the government for 10 years (and make 120 on-time, successful payments during that time), your debt will be paid off.
 
Of course, that requires working for the government for 10 years, but you won’t be in debt for the rest of your life. You just have to find a spot that you don’t hate, which I totally think is possible.
