Also consider the fact that in equestria, there is nothing really extraordinary, or superpower-like about Unicorns and Pegasi, given they make up just as much of the population as earth ponies. They are, mostly, everyday ponies, too.

What I meant it that it’s not a super power for for flutter’s and Dash to fly nor is it a super power for Twilight and Rare to have magic. Those are just rudimentary skills that they can practice to their own accords, being born as they are. Pinkie sense is the closest thing any them have to a “superpower”
 
Superman is Kryptonion and his powers are natural to him, but he was raised among humans, he identifies as one and lives/fights for values which we consider human. He is one of us, and those humble upbringings make his abilities and his use of them for the greater good (particularly among a huge population who have no knowledge of Krypton) exceptional.

Anyway, I agree with Applejack being compared to Batman for a reason left out of this image: Both of them are badasses despite having no special abilities.

-they both got their homes destroyed…seriously. That’s an actual reason listed for why aj makes a good Batmare? 4 of the others put on a costume to save lives too. And batman isn’t the only superhero to wear a costume noe to lose his parent either. And lastly those bats were distinctly rainbowed. So non of these reasons work very well.

I was just saying I think your explanation was good, but I also think you gave to much, you started with the purpose of a parody, and explained that well “Dash is someof a funny polar opposite to Bats, but at the same time, the most akin to being a hero” that works, but that also covered why you used Dash for Batmare, when you only started to talk of parody, so to drag in the rest of that comment to switch for explaining your own reason to use dash was a little more then needed to make the point about parodies.

I was just saying how with all you pointed it just took away form some of my enjoyment of you crossover, and I even gave way, to me if you enplane to much(even just a tiny bit) it can take away for it as a whole, to me if it’s good it make the person looking at it think of why the parody is set up in that way and how it is parodying the original work, you give to much info on why it;s like that you then take away stuff for the person viewing it to think about, and for me I get less enjoyment if I’m given less to think of.

My blog represents a small part of the overall Crossover I’ve been working on for over the past 2 years. I’ve put thought into and explained every casting choice Ive made since I started in detail.

All I was trying to get across is that even when trying to make AJ seem like similar enough character to bats, these reasons are still shallow and don’t really hold up.

Protagonist/hero of my series doesn’t Have to be the focus of my blog. My blog follows the villains whereas my friend’s blog follows the hero.

She’s not the hero of the series, as she’s more of a leading lady (very much not the protagonist. My blog centers around Ivyshy Pinkie Quinn and Catmare. Not batmare(there’s another blog I work with who does that). Regardless, Dash is the protagonist of the series as a whole.
