Will I get Microsoft’s X-box One? Probably not. I heard rumors going around that Microsoft never fixed the ‘Three Red Ring of Death’ stuff and that their new X-box One now has the ‘Red Dot of Death’ on it.
 
Mircosoft will have to fix that problem first before I buy another one of their crappy systems.
 
As far as I know, Microsoft’s Original X-box systems are the only game systems made by Microsoft that STILL WORKS even to this day.
 
Get the Original X-box if you want to but forget about buying Microsoft’s other two updated X-Box systems. They’re garbage.

Well here we are roughly Six Months after the launch of the XBOne. S0NY p0wned ‘em on used Games, Kinect is also gone… Along with 20 former employes of Rare (i.e. Kinect Sports). The only thing left is the mandatory 24h Connection.* Which is yet to come in the form of Cloudgine… (MicroSoft’s answer to S0NYs Gaki Cloud Service).
 
*Yeah I know that this wasn’t meant for the Cloud Service per-say. But, this is likely where the Mandatory connect will live.

Well, at least they killed the “No used games” thing. They got rid of the “No used games” thing, right?

There’s about 10 games free at any given time.
 
They offer a few new games each month as others go off the list and as long as you’ve added them to your purchase history, you can download and play them as long as you stay a plus member. You end up with a lot of games for almost nothing.

Playstation Plus gives you a free game when you sign up for it though. And not just some shovelware crap: they’ve offered great free games on PS3 like Infamous 2, Just Cause 2, and even Megaman 9+10 combo pack. I’d say it’s worth it.

ps4 will make you pay for online, not worth it anymore

Whats truly sad is that we have to get excited over Horseapples like this. Things like Used Games. Beit with or without On-Line Passes should be the GOLD STANDARD! And let us not start on the ALWAYS On-line Prism rape!

Seriously, I don’t blame you. I’m just waiting for the the WiiU to get some killer games and a price drop. My current Wii is too old to play my copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy, and it’s probably easier to upgrade to the next console than buy a new Wii or send in my current one for repairs.
 
While my brother will probably be all over getting the PS4, I find it hard to get excited about a new Sony console when we just got a PS3. Seriously.

My biggest gripe is the fact that I have to pay US$970 for all of the above, as well as the fact that it may region-lock games further than the current generation (I get most of my console games from Hong Kong, where they’re cheaper) may drive game prices to over US$100

The one thing I feel sad for the Jaguar for actually is Iron Soldier. It may not have soothed the anger I had at Atari for fucking up so badly (when they basically created most of the concepts Nintendo successfully used, I mean how do you do that anyway, that’s like Universal Studios suddenly forgetting every movie-shooting trick and technique they ever invented in about ten years wtf) but boy was that awesome enough to cool it a bunch. Definitely something that deserved a ‘next gen’ remake. Instead Atari went into only porting shit, and 3DO went on an army-man frenzy. Either of them had the free time and the funds to have successfully remade it. >:|  
(While it isn’t a 3DO property Atari did sell off a good amount of their original Jaguar IPs later, so the possibility was there.)  
Also the launch game, Cybermorph. The concept is stupendous, but the execution is lacking. If it were basically remade as a crossover of itself meshed with SNES’ Vortex (that mode 7 game with the transforming mech) then I think that would take off.

Meh I hate used games. I prefer to actually help a company make money on their games instead of fill some third party distributor’s wallet cough Gamestop cough.

How can they? You can’t sell them, you can’t really transfer them, give them away, nothing.  
When they stop supporting the games in less than ten years, you won’t be able to play them because the damn console won’t have a server to connect to.

Other than Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land, the Wii U hasn’t had any real major exclusives. It’s having the same problem the PS3 had when first released. No Metroid, no Zelda, no Smash Bros, nothing.  
At least Pikmin 3 is coming soon.

Sega lost major focus with the Saturn. Why the fu** they devleoped and released the X32 along side it (i.e. the Saturn), is a mystery to me. Worse still they were pushing both products against each other. You could get the Saturn for $$$ or the X32 (assuming you had a Genesis/Megadrive) for $$. With a very MINOR difference in Graphics.

As for XBONE Collector Games… HOW THE FU** is that even gonna work when the Disk(s), are pretty much One-shoted? Buy Two of the same Game and live in eternal hope? What happens after M$ get tired of the XBONE and decide that the XBONE3-6-0 is the new Black? And just kill their Servers cold dead, like they did with the old XBOX? I can’t wait till the kill the 360 like that…
