Of course, good voice acting is always difficult to find, but it can be done if you’re not content with the first person that comes your way. Musicians of Ponyville for example sounded fairly good.
True, there are some people that need to realize they just don’t have the talent for professional work. They need to do what keeps them happy, but they shouldn’t quit their day job.
I would love to do voice over work, however, I realize that just isn’t possible since my voice isn’t that great… ok, being honest, my voice is horrible and would make an angel scream and a devil cry. ;)
I dunno, some pony fans my be good at animation, but a lot of times when official ponies are involved the internet voice artists are a bit lackluster and ruin things for me. Which I think has to do with them always being pulled from people from deviant and tumblr that just want voice over work because they are delusional that it will eventually land them work in professionally produced animation and not actual fans.
