I also kind of want him to stay the same, so I believe the best and easiest way to please everyone on that regard would be to play with the greed thing to give him the ability to temporarily grow a little (maybe getting his wings when he does) but with a more positive emotion because of everything he learned from the Mane6’s lessons.
 
Of course, they could leave him like that forever too…I mean, G3 Spike was over a thousand years old and was stil a baby dragon. Since they take 100-year naps, its entirely possible they take several millenia to even grow a little. But I agree, even if they do take this last path, I at last hope they give him his wings.

I don’t want him to grow, at least not show him grow old in the show. I don’t want him to change his appearance.  
I’d rather he be like the royal sisters and not age physically, I wish they’d give him some wings tho.

I don’t even midn if he doesn’t grow thatt much (teenage size would be perfect imo) but PLEASE give him his wings already T_T. Its such a small deal (for a dragon at least) but it would make me so goddamn happy.

He’s a baby dragon. His species is the keyword. We always knew this, so I don’t see why its such a big deal.  
In terms of mental maturity though, he’s obviously not a baby. He tends to switch from being a sharp kid to more mature than half the main cast depending on what the plot requires.

which means they will make him super huge and make him leave Ponyville so they don’t have to deal with him anymore.  
because whats easier then giving him some character? getting rid of him for being a monster.

I think he meant he’s only a ‘baby’ to his species only, but not by age.  
He’s still too young compared to other dragons, is probably what he meant.
