This guy just got paid a massive amount of money for a five minute interview and a photo of him hugging a plush. And he apparently already has 12k to just throw away.

I’d say he’s winning at life personally.

This guy’s apparently British, and he’s not even sticking his pinkie finger out when he holds the damn teacup.
Oh, and ah…the thing about MLP being this guy’s life. That’s pretty pathetic too.

You clearly know as much about Brits as you do about Bronys.

what I’d heard from him is that, they’re very faithful to their respective car, as models should be expected to.

there’s lots of interesting hobbies out there though, that’s a given, some just more interesting because of how inventive or creative they can be.=

I’ve also known someone for quite a while on the internet who was interested in cars, but he was only buying miniature models since cars are, well, you know, quite expensive and a little big to store somewhere.

it’s a good hobby, interesting one at that, Quite expensive though when you get to collecting some of the more high bar models.. like hundreds of dollars / piece expensive and, but the most expensive ones that are just not affordable on the other hand. (check this little lamborghini for instance)

My next door neighbor has a 1963 Plymouth which he restored, I recall one day he paid something like $1,100 for a trim piece. I’m not sure what he has in that car, at least $10,000 and that’s with a little inflation included as he started working on it about ten years back.

I don’t really care/mind. Depending on the salary he has, £12k may seem like a lot, but I’ve seen just as much spent into other serious hobbyists if not more.

imo, whatever makes you happy and live a good life, but of course that’s not what this news article was focusing on, so fuck them and everyone thinking themselves smugly that they’re more superior to this guy.

It wasn’t long ago (some hundred years ago by now, but still) when people from the “old world” thought the Native Americans were “devil worshipers” for bathing and having a sweat lodge (AKA Sauna). This is no surprise why they (not the natives) were so disease laden then. As a human race, people do have things to work on.

I’d love to argue that Brits are actually nice people, on average, but i can’t say that from experience. I’ve seen Brits be a heap of bigoted, cliquey and downright ignorant plebeians.
