Max Taranis has set out to find a new life for himself outside of Ponyville, but that task has proven to be more difficult than he originally thought. He drifts from town to town, looking for work and a place to call home with no luck whatsoever. That all changes once he meets a fiery pegasus mare named Lightning Dust, who helps him find work in an odd little town far north of Ponyville. They quickly become the best of friends and things seem to be looking up for Max……except for the loneliness.Now that Max has a tolerable home and a stable job, he seeks a romantic partner in this equine-ruled world, but nopony seems to be interested. That is, until Lightning Dust makes him a bet that she can find him a mare who’s more than willing to give him a chance.
I think that is something that Suri has in common with Babs Seed.
I do hope that one day PussPuss gets the time and desire to finish the story.
I really don´t think Suri is a lost cause, just a very difficult one.
She seemed to have been a decent pony before she moved to Manehattan.

I think she was genuinely happy to see Rarity again. But when she saw her collection she became greedy and also saw her as a serious threat so she made the wrong decision and copied it.
Suri has certainly much talent; she was able to recreate Raritys collection after seeing it only once.
She is practically a less fortunate version of Rarity.
A redemption can work if these two find themselves in a situation where they are forced to cooperate (a friendship mission would be ideal).
They would argue and snark at each other at first but finally Rarity might be able to get through to Suri, learns about her past and helps her to better herself.
The fact that they are old acquaintances would also help.

There are many characters I want to see again.
Suri, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Coloratura, Coco, Sky Stinger, Vapor Trail, the Pillars etc
Maybe even Little Strongheart.
But, what if she wakes up as an alicorn with Starlight Glimmer fending off Nightmare Moon?
At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if something from Season 1 suddenly popped up, like how those seeds that Discord planted over 1,000 years ago finally sprouted. I enjoy having seemingly irrelevant things become extremely relevant later on because of some very key points that’re easy to miss.
For example, what if Twilight has actually been in a coma since Nightmare Moon’s return, and all of this is within her mind, but it’s explained in such a way that these little, tiny details throughout the entire series are the key points to the entire thing?

I hope that it was foreshadowing.
But this is cute.
Lightning Dust’s presence in the series is lacking since her dismissal from the Wonderbolts. Though she did appear as a filly in a flashback of a previous season episode.
