In the Crystal Empire Part 1, Twilight recited a square root of a three digit number to eight decimal places off the top of her head from a number probably picked at random. It could be a thing.
They’d have to be pretty fast to be faster than a calculator.
Time of response gives away the use of a calculator or not.

If Moondancer’s, then Moondancer’s preference is indeed an argument to the logic described by Ereiam.
If Twilight Sparkle’s, then no. However, the logic in question is not designed to be non-inductively determinable. In this case, it is being used for some combination of “fun” (in its most vague notion), “fun” (as derived from a thematic pun), conciseness, and/or possibly the presentation of an inductive puzzle.
