I remember the image where Starburst and Nightmare Dove are injured, as well as the one where Starburts is coming home angry and all that stuff. Unfortunetly I couldn’t find those images anymore. I found the story images until that with only Nighmare Dove and then cut to the last one Kilala did.
The Ninghmare Dove one tells the story of Nightmare taking control of Dove, it’s a fanfic called Destiny if I remember well. Meanwhile, the last one tells the story after the battle against Nightmare Dove, and Dove declares her love for Star, who kisses her and flies away. I think their faces in the image represent this moment, Dove flushed as she declared her love to Star, and Star in shock.

There is no exact fanfic for the story that Kila created. The story is completely fragmented, and goes according to the drawings made by Kila.
 
In order to understand the story, you must find the drawings related to it and read the small scenes like this one in the correct chronological order, as there are drawings that are continuations of other drawings, part 2 of one of the short stories. This is how I had a better understanding of the main plot.
 
The last scene made by Kila was one in which the drawing was Starburst, on the right side, with an indignant face (I think) looking in the direction of Dove, who on the left side was flushed while apparently begging for something to Starburst, what she really is doing.  
The penultimate scene is where Nightmare Dove and Starburst are injured, and Starburst is coming home after a fight, very sad and angry about the situation. The scene before this is one that has only Nightmare Dove on the cover, a scene that shows how Dove turned into Nightmare Dove.  
If I’m not mistaken, the scene before this was one where Dove accidentally caused a fire in the Twilight lab, causing her to go to the hospital and Nightmare to start haunting her. Unfortunately I do not remember the drawing of this scene.
 
All the drawings are colorful, and only the last ones I mentioned that involve the climax of the story, the others tell of small scenes that show the personality and situation of the characters, gradually building what we see at the end, and if you have that Basically, when you read the latest scenes, the business will get more impactful, because you already know the story of the key characters and know the relationship they have. When you finish reading, you’re gonna be like  
“Holy shit …. where’s the rest bro ?! I need more !!! What do you mean there’s nothing else ??!?! What about no continuation?!? !?; ~~;. “, this is where you stay, I know that because I was in it, it was very sad; ~~;

These short stories show the characters that are of the new generation, created by her. They were made many years ago, if I’m not mistaken it was in 2015, well before My Little Pony: The movie, been released, so, there was no way for Kila to know that the horns cannot grow back, as it had not yet been implemented in the MLP universe. Even I started thinking like her when I read the Dove-related fanfics, but when I saw the movie I found it wasn’t like that. Keeping this in mind, Kila has not made a mistake, only the information that is out of date.
 
Honestly, I prefer that the whole fanfic continue with this little mistake, because if it updates to the current reality, it will end up taking almost all that drama that exists in the history of Dove and the main plot that Kila created for this story, cutting many of scenes involving Dove breaking or cracking the own horn. She is like a depressed person who mutilates herself, but instead of using blades to cut herself, she tries in every way to destroy her horn, to hurt the part she hates most about herself.
 
It’s very obvious that Dove has a lot of power inside her, probably even greater than her mother’s, but unlike her mother she can’t control her powers because she is afraid of hurting the people who she loves, to be afraid of succumbing to power and to become bad as many others, even her own mother. And it was exactly that fear that led her to ruin, which led her to become Nightmare Dove, the villain who is actually a victim of Nightmare, just as Luna was.  
Nightmare Dove is the main villain in Kila’s story, and without all this background plot in Dove’s history we would lose much of the excitement as we would not feel so involved if this drama were not what it is now.
 
Of all the Nex Gen, to me, Dove is the one with the best backstory, and as a villain, it’s the best story of fanfics and even MLP animation itself.  
In MLP, for me the best background stories of the villains are Starlight, Nightmare Moon and Pony of Shadows, the rest is the same as always, with that talk of “I’ll be the most powerful being of all and I will rule the whole fucking.”. I’m not saying that they are bad villains, they are very fucking good villains, but their backstories is meh.
 
That’s what I think, I’m sorry to linger, it’s a craze I’m trying to improve on.

Interesting. Well, I hope everything works out for her! With Starlight as her other mother, at least she’ll be able to learn to fly despite not having wings. ;)

Dove was originally meant to have a French/“Prench” pegasus stallion for a father, hence her love for wings. But as a character, he existed as a formless, nameless concept up in the air – hardly could be called a character at all. Then Kilala watched No Second Prances and liked the StarTrix ship so much, she retconned Dove into a StarTrix fan child.

Gotcha. I don’t follow a whole lot of artists directly, so I dunno. xD But I’m assuming now, that Dove used to have a more direct father figure, and as of the recent episode Kilala is retconning that? Is this an official change, or a sort of temporary/alternate thing?
