Does it matter?
Was it seriously hard for the animators or even the storybioarders to draw this?
And that’s why I never waste my time on stuff like that. Not because of the tl;Dr factor, but because of wasting reading misunderstood information.
Because discussing topics related to the show in a serious fashion can be fun as long as nobody lets it get out of hand.
This (and looking at human skeleton) means whoever said that originally and I remembered was factually incorrect - both humans and horses have their arm bones mostly suspened and not connected. Humans just have a bunch of extra bones (not possible and not necessary on horses) in there that allow them to raise arms and also connect them to the rest of the skeleton.
This (and the accompanying picture) suggests otherwise, but I’m by no means a vet.
I recall horse forelegs not even having a shoulderjoint, as in, bone-bone connection, they’re connected solely through muscle.

Horse arms also don’t have ball-and-socket shoulders, but pony arms do.
Yeah, well… this is a little more obvious than most.
A lot of things in this show break those laws.
Because I find this genuinely upsetting and cringe, more than I should. They had this pose in pony version and used it several times before. This looks awkward.
Who even storyboarded this?
