“Oh, this?” The cyan mare chuckled fondly, before flying up and sitting next to the canopy of her jet. She placed a hoof on the inscribed name under the glass windscreen.
 
“I joined through the Wonderbolts, and on my first day of practice I crossed the runway without checking the approach and almost got ran over. Flew straight into a trash can.” She gave the aircraft a pat, right on the name.
 
“They’ve called me Rainbow Crash since.” She sighed contentedly. “I didn’t like it at first, but it kinda grew on me. The name stuck with me even after being cycled to active service.”
 

 
Hello folks, back with practice pieces! This thing only took me under six hours total. so yay I guess?  
I hope this piece is still relevant.
 
Anyways, I love the fact that RD has been officially bestowed a callsign. At least now I know what to put on my drawings in the future.
 
Also, if you’re attentive enough, I left another hidden reference in it. The only clue I’ll give is that this is referring to a content-creator from way back in the early days of the fandom
