the real problem with people sticking money in places that isn’t a purse/wallet/pocket is that’s it’s extremely unsanitary. Money is already filthy due to how often it changes hands, the last thing it needs is for people to be putting in in places where its in constant, direct contact with skin and sweat. and then asking cashiers to have to handle that money? It’s extremely rude.

in fact, I heard on the news that a convince store chain I can’t recall the name of has actually put in a new rule that they will no longer accept “sock money”. If someone comes up to the register and pulls cash out of their cleavage/shoes/pants, the cashiers can refuse to do service with them.

I don’t think a guy doing a rob and run is going to be able to grab at both and easily get away with it. And how many people actually put stuff there anyway? I personally don’t know anyone who does.

I presume their logic is that they won’t get their money because they’re hiding it in their shirt separate from their purse. But if someone is robbing you, they KNOW there’s a good chance you’re doing that so they’re going to demand both, regardless of whether or not you actually hide your money there.

Plus, congrats on making money even more disgusting than it already was.

Your previous argument was that you sometimes wonder whether they want to get robbed as well as sexually assaulted. So which would be more probable action for a robber, they grab a lady’s chest, which may or may not have stuff, or a bag that is more than likely has something, and more easily snatchable?

I’m going to guess it’s because woman pants pockets are damn tiny so that literally nothing can fit in them without it being too much of an effort or any part of it sticking out.

I work retail. I see women store their phones, wallets, or just loose wads of money wrapped in paper towel in their shirts.

I’m often tempted to ask them if they really want to get sexually assaulted if they’re robbed, because that’s all that’s going to do for you, because they know women do that.
