I really do love this artist and his style, but I’m just not a fan of TwiLuna. But the way Spike and Twilight interact is so good, much better then most other artists.

That being said, some of the sentence structure here is a bit wonky. I’d like to suggest to all comic artists that they ask for review of their text before publishing their works.
I love Silfoe’s interpretation of Spike and Twilight’s relationship so much it causes me physical pain. I think that—as far as fan art is concerned—only dSana does it better.
archaic for “dragon,” from Old English draca “dragon, sea monster, huge serpent,” from Proto-Germanic *drako (source also of Middle Dutch and Old Frisian drake, Dutch draak, Old High German trahho, German Drache), an early borrowing from Latin draco (see dragon).
@Blissey1
I’ve see it most commonly used to refer to a cousin-like bipedal species of dragons, while dragonling or whelp is used to refer to baby dragons.
Same, I hate TwiLuna but his Spike/Twi stuff is awesome.

Put simply, drake is an older-rooted word for “dragon”.

but most of the time it’s a young dragon
or a male duck

Well it depends on the universe. In some they’re the same, in some they’re different races.
It means dragon.
