It was inspired/an American remake of GoLion from Japan, also 80s
Cool. I wasn’t sure ’cause Tatsunoko has been around since the ’60s, and if not by Tatsunoko themselves, Voltron is definitely inspired by stuff like Tatsunoko and Transformers. :j

The ’80s have also phoned at the least fifteen other characters as well. Which is usually just a symptom of having been created in the ‘80s. XD
