I almost hear it in the voice of Ed from Ed, Edd, and Eddy when I read: “Bronies are the adult male fans of My Liddle Pony Friendship is Magic.” or something to that effect.
Hey yeah, breaking news like 5 years ago.
I imagine the public’s reaction when the movie hits theaters will restart the cycle all over again.

That’s the double standard of gender roles that many seem to take issue with nowadays. Most people are automatically accepting of females who enjoy media directed at males and even interpret it as some form of empowerment; Yet, when males enjoy content meant for females, it’s seen as jarring and they are not afforded the same acceptance or tolerance, sometimes even looked down upon as effeminate or gay.
Never heard the term ‘subculture’ applied to bronies. I only heard it applied to furry fandom and some obscure movements.
That too.
Or the people who have been collecting MLP toys since the 80s?
They over focus on us. Where are the documentaries about female hardcore Ninja Turtle or GI Joe fans?
