However this has been the fandom cannon since season 2. And just the way Twilight said pon 3 show how weird that would be as a real name.
Octi called her Vinyl in ep. 100 DJ pone-3 is her stage name.
It’s probably quite easy to stop a lot of complaints about that.
Her stage name (what she’s mostly known by) is DJ Pon-3, whereas her real name is Vinyl Scratch.
DJ PON-3 is her stage name that doesn’t rule out Vinyl Scratch as her name.
