I still think MLP Changelings have feeding habits of Succubi. I didn’t mean they are actually Succubi, but compared to Succubi.

Metaphorically, was my assumption. Additionally, Counselor Troi’s son sort of reminded me of a couple of creatures including Changelings and other Faes. Admittedly, going by memory works sometimes, but not always, lol.
 
Mythology generally interests me partly because creatures often overlap, Griffon, Hippogriff, Hippocampus, Nessie, Tessie, Plessie, and another partly because all ancients have varying similarities in their bestiaries, European dragons, East Asian dragons, Southeast Asian dragons, South American dragons, North American dragons. :3

Wikipedia doesn’t say anything about shape shifting or feeding off of love (rather taking advantage of) until it mentions the MLP Depiction. “Feeding off love” also redirects to succubus. It also says “taking advantage of” on the MLP Wiki. So which country’s version are you referring to?

Mythological Changelings do both of those things.

Yes, but they are different than the Changelings in MLP. The changelings in mythology refer to a human child being stolen and exchanged with a fairy child. Changelings in MLP are shape-shifters feeding off of love.

Succubi? Changelings are an actual thing from old mythology, you know.
