It’s a universally accepted theory that this use of dark magic will come back to bite Twi in the plot later on: whether it be her turning into an Evil Queen-type figure or making her the prime possession target of a ghostly King Sombra…

Dark magic although powerful isn’t technically evil. It can be danderous to use as someone untrained could easily fall to it’s Dark nature. I doubt Twilight is that well trained, but knowing she can use it means she has the potental for something Grand, be it good or evil.

It really worries me out how easy that was for her.

Wouldn’t that give more reason to send Luna she’s probably more experienced in it’s use than Twilight

What if they tried that the first time, and that’s what trigged Luna turning into NMM?
