Discord: Zecora, darling! I have a suprise for you!
 
Zecora: You will forgive me for being hesitant at your words. Your last surprise consisted of rampaging birds.
 
Discord: Yes, yes, I know already! Fluttershy still won’t let me live it down but I promise, darling, you’ll like this surprise. Now close your eyes.
 
Zecora: [closes eyes] I await my surprise with bated breath, as long as this evening doesn’t end in death.
 
Discord: …Pessimistic little thing tonight, aren’t you. But I promise, you love this. [Cast spell] Well?
 
Zecora: [Frown] It is… colder than before, why is that? The Everfree is a humid and heavy habitat.
 
Discord: Open your eyes.
 
Zecora: [Opens eyes and gasps at the sight of snow drifting down from the sky.] This is…
 
Discord: I know that it rarely snows out here and you are too busy during winter to visit but just for tonight, I made the weather bend to my will. Wasn’t easy, either. This forest’s magic is stranger than I thought and stiff but for you, I’m willing to put in the effort.
 
Zecora: Discord…
 
Discord: You don’t have to say anything, darling. [Kisses Zecora’s cheek]. Just keep that look for a little while longer.
 

 
Seriously, I’m starting to love this ship. It’s unendingly cute!
 
As stated before, my new OTP is Zecord. In my verse, they became friends after Discord started hiding out in the Everfree when his frustration over Celestia got to him. His unrequited love was soothed by the wise and mature Zecora, who cut through his bullshit swiftly but caringly. They’d eventually fall in love though Discord, scared of such feelings, ends up running away for a while, leaving Anansi’s egg on Zecora’s doorstep.
 
In this pic, Discord gathers up his god like powers to wrangle a single cloud to produce snow. While it usually would be easy for him, nature in the Everfree is a lot like metal, hard and takes time to bend. To take control of a single cloud in the Everfree takes a lot of time and effort. So why did he go through all the trouble? So that Zecora could experience winter for the first time.
 
Note: This is kind of based on something I noticed when some frinds from Jamaica came to visit me. They were so disappointed that they came during the summer cause they wanted to see snow. I learned then that is apparently doesn’t snow there so they’d never seen snow outside of pictures. I figured Zecora would have a similiar experience to that, hence her awe.
