Gummy reminds me of something from an 80s He-Man playset, he has that look to him.
 
Actually the ponies kind of do too. Onward noble steed.

Everypony who saw Lady Pinkie Pie’s guards always thought that it was the alligator she affectionately called “Gummy” that they should be wary of. After all, he had cold, unblinking eyes, jaws that could break bone, and was clearly loyal to Lady Pinkie (who treated him more like a sweet little baby than any sort of dangerous animal).
 
However, a small number knew better. While Gummy may have been the obvious threat, it was actually Maud that any who would dare try to harm Pinkie had to look out for. A very quiet mare, she was often forgotten. Combined with her gray coat and mane, and her dark armor, and she could blend into most shadows, being completely unnoticed. Worse, while Gummy was a predator, he would eventually give up. Whereas Maud would be relentless, seeming to always appear out of nowhere to stalk her target, never seeming to tire or show any emotion. There are some who say that she is not a pony, but an avatar of death bound to the pink mare as her servant.
 
Only two ponies who ever dared to harm Pinkie Pie survived their encounter with Maud. One was a lone criminal, saved only by the merciful intervention of Lady Pinkie herself.
 
The other was a member of a group of assassins hired to kill the lady. Before getting word of their associate’s failure, Maud had shown up, the head of the noble who hired them in tow. Without any expression of emotion, the dark coated earth mare eliminated all the others. The one she left alive was to serve as a warning.
 
“Tell others what you have seen here,” Maud said, finally speaking, “and let it be known that any who dare threaten my sister shall face the same.”

With Maud Pie as a guard, Pinkie seems to have the strongest security. Other guards are nowhere near Maud’s level of strength and durability.

I want that Gummy. All of my crocodile mounts always drag their bellies along the ground.
