Id say it concludes a big part of ther arcs.
I get where you are comeing from, but i’d just want chicken and edge horse to be happy and wrap up those arcs.
Chickens can indeed fly (but they’re usually not good at it compared to other birds).
I prefer Scoots stay the way she is now, being able to fly in small bursts once in a while but not as good or often compared other Pegasi. To me, making her a good flyer would be like giving Tempest her horn back (which is something other people wanted too). Doing that in both cases would take away something that’s kind of a big part of their characters and I liked how what they have is pretty much a disability metaphor but with magical creatures.
I still hope she will one day.
Our silly chicken deserves to be happy.
(She would still be a chicken beacuse the reasons why we call her a chicken: Shes as cute as one and as goofy as one)

Given Scootaloo’s Cutie Mark and the fact that she’s in the Wonder Bolts, yep this is old. It likely came out before they started implying that Scoots had a flying disability.
