Yes. There are a few unreleased characters already revealed, and that is not counting the ones that might not even be planned. One of the positive sides of DLC in fighting games is not having to make an entirely new game to add one or two new characters.
The downside is the flood of DLC and unregulated prices.
I read on their indigogo page that there is going to be a goat who they described to be a “master of balance”.
Makes me hope they introduce a new character that plays the dairy farm animal. Like a goat or even a relative of Arizona since her skins are pretty milk centric. Wouldn’t be surprised if she had close ties to a milk business.

I’m pretty sure that was there before the PS4, though I don’t think it was there at release.
She’s still a calf so they likely haven’t grown in yet. Unlike MLP where all the Mane 6 are adult, she and Pom the Lamb aren’t adults yet.
Given her antlers, I’m assuming Velvet could be an adult (but some fawns can get them too) and maybe the others are too.
Maybe she’s too young for them to be prominent.
