Rumble was “bad” in only one episode. In the rest of them, he’s a sweet little colt. Honestly, pre-Season 7 Rumble was better. They kinda spoiled his character, or should I say non-character. But in the end of that episode, he seems to be friendly again. Guess his hateboner towards cutie marks really ticked him off and his conflict with the Crusaders only pushed his limits because, well, the CMCs have a complete opposite goal than his: finding cutie marks instead of avoiding them.

Oh, as for this pic, I find RumBelle cute. Rumble is a tough guy, while Sweetie is sensitive. It’s a fun combination. You can even see this in their manes’ appearance (Rumble’s look spiky and badass, while Sweetie’s is fluffy and curly). ;)

Is this one of those phases where girls like bad boy that they believe they can improve them?

It’s easier to said than done, If I want to be honest especially dealing thing that I tend to like. But anyway apology accepted.

Sorry, I was just pointing out how he came off, and why I didn’t like his new personality, I wasn’t insulting him. You need not take it so personal.
 
Hopefully, he’ll be better in a future episode.

I rather not talk about people who bash him or something like that, I might started to break derpi rules if I do so. Also if you don’t mind please resist to use wordS like “unappealing, and come off a bit selfish/bratty, smug, entitled, and such” while we are talking, I know he is just fictional character, but they way you say that word only getting into my nerves. But anyway the main reason why I don’t like that much there isn’t foreshadowing in the previous episodes, all I see every time he appear in the show just being a happy kid like being with other foals or his brother. But then this episode come in and then he act so much different in the negative way feel like another colt. Oh well I am not the writer of MLP, I have no power to change the episode. So all I can do is just accepting the change.

Really? I hardly see anyone criticize that episode, or bash Rumble here on Derpibooru. (I don’t know how it is in other fandom circles.)  
Some here even loved the episode’s depiction of him, and his new personality/attitude, which I don’t understand, because I actually agree they made him rather unappealing, and come off a bit selfish/bratty, smug, entitled, and such. Especially, the way he was turning other young ponies from the CMC, and going off about how bad cutie-marks were. (Even Starlight would’ve cringed at that.)
 
I don’t necessarily “hate” him, I just hate his portrayal in the episode, and it’s why I didn’t really enjoy “Marks & Recreation.”
 
Granted his previous portrayal was quite different, but didn’t have a personality at all. I kinda wish they used a new colt for the episode, rather then ruin a beloved BG one.

To be honest even though I like Rumbelle for me both Rumbloo and Rumbelle is just make sense as two random ponies shipped together a.k.a Crack Shipping. But the reason why I like Rumbelle not Rumbloo is mainly because of the their color scheme complimenting each other at least the way I see it.
 
This is something that I don’t like ever since that Marks and Recreation, the amount of negative views that Rumble get due to how writer write him. Honestly it just saddening me, anger me and just make me uncomfortable reading those comments and other. And it seems that each and everyday, I see that type of comment more and more.
 
Look I understand why people view him like that. Despite that I love Rumble, I do have a mix feeling of Mark and Recreation, on one hand he finally get his own Episode, one the other hand the way the writer wrote him is just agonizing for me. And it’s not me, a lot of Rumble fans also feel the same about the episode.
 
Anyway I haven’t see this the break up breakdown yet and I just hope that the writer could write him better in the future.

I kinda agree, though on the other hand, some prefer “opposites attract” couples which might be why they like it. Rumbleloo used to be a li’l bit popular, I recall. I don’t mind that one too much, but honestly I’m not very into ‘shipping.
 
Funny thing is, her voice Clair Corlett is apparently a fan of “SweetieMash.” She even jokingly refered to Button as her boyfriend in a Q&A session. Oddly, that one used to be more popular, but for some reason fans hate it nowadays, or dislike Button ‘cause he’s a “nerd.” (Irony!)  
I kinda prefer Button over Rumble, (even though he doesn’t really have any canon personality) but I didn’t like the fanon voice some fans gave him in fan videos as they usually make him sound like a “South Park” character.

I’ve never thought Rumbelle made much sense; these too have next to nothing in common. Rumbloo, IMHO, is a more logical ship: both Rumble and Scootaloo are pegasi, and they’re both athletic and competitive.
 
I’m not sure what colt you’d ship with Sweetie Belle. Most likely she’d end up a junior version of Rarity: admired by every colt in town, but unable to land any of them.

That could actually have happened.

Also, can’t say I like this ’ship much, (no offense) ’cause frankly I found Rumble a completely obnoxious character. (I even found Diamond Tiara more likeable.) Am I the only one who feels that way?
