I don’t know the specifics but I could tell there was a shift in the winds. All the ships in the fray all just stopped shooting at each other. A few made a break for it in the lull, but for the most of them, they just stopped firing. I didn’t know why until I saw her. She came out of the mist like a ghost, her guns poised and ready and her sails at full canvas. She barely had a scratch on her. Not like our good ole FlutterMac or the RainbowMac, who had been in the think of battle for eight years. She was new. But despite that, she commanded respect. The SS. SugarMac. The name still makes me shakes in my boots. None of the Crack-Class ships even tried to fight her they just fled… Not like it helped them. Those poor fools. Those with a few good Canons made use of them firing with the other dozen or so ships. I remember the captain ordering us to full Canvas with several others doing the same. Those that remained… They gave us time. It was a massacre. We made use of our speed alongside the RainbowMac, TwiMac and LunaMac. We lost track of the others in the haste. Though I can still hear the canon shots in the distance so they must be still in the fight. Faust help us all.
