Darkwing was a show in his own show on more than one occasion, and the head writer has said that they are going somewhere awesome with this.

By having the Darkwing Duck reboot take place in the same universe as the Ducktales reboot? People have done shared universes with TV shows before, animated shows as well. For example the animated 90s Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, etc. were connected with each other and they had crossovers with each other. Same applied to DC’s DCAU where shows like Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Justice League, etc. were all connected too.

Wait. Wait. Darkwing Duck remake is confirmed? I know they were hinting at it with the Ducktales remake but I’m glad to hear about this.
