An ascended meme at this point. It started out as a reference to a jarringly out of place comic of the webcomic Ctrl Alt Del, a series focused on gamer culture (and not especially well liked for a host of reasons), wherein the main character rushes to a hospital to find his wife has had a miscarriage.
 
The order of the panels and the placement of the characters became so famous that a mere reference to that placement became the main joke rather than the comic itself. This particular tutorial is referencing that placement.
