To be fair, in the Family Guy episode and in the original Bob Hope and Bing Crosby movie, they did the same thing.
IN the same part of the song in both cases. In Family Guy, Stewie mentions Fox won’t let the show die until it is syndicated. In the Crosby/Hope movie, one of them mentions Paramount having them on contract to do more movies together for 5 more years. (Paramount being the one to put out the movie to begin with)
