Independly of that, Starlight doesn’t seems to want to become an alicorn so there’s not much of an hurry up for glimmercorn.
Sunset however wanted to be one, and now that she’s been redeemed, I want her to advert the “ambition is evil” stereotype, she can be both ambitious and a good pony, trying to achieve her wishes in an honest heroic way.
This, this right here is what Starlight fans tend to forget about Sunset.
I do, mostly because unlike Starlight Sunset did want to become one. It would be sad to give up in that after everything that she did to atone and even going further.

Meh, is about morality. I mean, I don’t think is bad to wish for something, just don’t step on others when pursuiung your ambitions.
Something that both ponies needed to learn.
Which means Starlight deserves it more.
