I love dark women and men in general but this seems too dark and just not a lot of character put into the coloring but thats just my opinion.

Tag the genders
There’s a reason why art tends not to support a dark black skin tone. It’s at least partially due to how you can’t see the outlines and details because they’re black lines with a near-black coloration surrounding them.
