You both must remember… Sludge put a HUGE target on his back by taking advantage of poor Spike like that.
Spike was technically raised Twilight and Celestia, is the hero of the Crystal Empire and has Cadence’s respect, he’s partly responsible for the Dragons and Changelings having a more stable reign, so yeah, he’s screwed!
