Description
IDW Equestria Girls volume to be released in Japan, with early release on October 27 at an event. This is just the Japanese translation of the 2013 and 2014 comic specials. Art by famous Marvel artist Gurihiru.

Looking at them in full I’ve noticed that there’s a difference in color between two covers. I also can now notice it in the previews up here, so I think it’s intentional. But why though?

your current filter.I love Gurihiru as well, but they aren’t IDW’s regulars. Having guest artists for just a cover is easy to arrange, but having them for a full comic pretty much requires them to not be busy with anything else for a month or so. So it’s pretty much impossible for as long as they have a running series. That said, I sure would love a full EQG comic drawn by Gurihiru.

Well, that’s not a huge difference. Even 80% is very high in my opinion. And I’m pretty sure neither of us is basing it on any kind of hard statitics (I sure don’t), just a general feeling.
on the part of 90% of the Japanese people living
an extremely boring life its probably lower than that like 80%
or 85%.
Well then I have a treat for you then. Japan has a horrible system of social pressure that drives tens of thousands of people to suicide yearly and everyone is acting like it’s natural. 90% of japanese people live an extremely boring life with no perspectives. While they are paid well, most of the jobs a japanese person can get are miserable and in most places it’s mandatory to work overtime if you want to fit in (or everyone thinks you’re a slacker and will hate you for it). So, while they do get some good stuff and asian work ethic makes it so some of them are extremely good at what they do, most of them aren’t actually living happy and fulfilling lives, quite the opposite.

i could not afford the comic if it were in english anyway.
From what I can get out of google translate, it’s just exclusive covers for japanese translation of one of EQG’s annual comics. I think the second one, but I’m not sure.
