Have to be perfectly honest, as someone who hasn’t watched the Equestria Girl movie sequels or the spin-off show I honestly I had no idea that this was a edit I really actually thought it was part of the show! 0w0 I was like - “Woah wait…WHAT?!”
Then I saw the comment section and it made sense. And I do agree with them, these edits are spot-on and very convincing.
@Liggliluff
Maybe have the dress move up more incrementally? The lower part first, folding upwards as the inside becomes exposed, like peeling a banana? That’d be a lot more work though, and very different from what you’ve been doing so far.
@Liggliluff
That makes more sense if only because the animation is mostly hidden from view. Denim skirts (like Fluttershy seems to be wearing) are too thick to flip upwards properly like that, but would be able to bunch up into a more belt-like form.
Given that animation features an explosion though, it might make more sense for it to be ripped, torn, or burnt up, or blown off altogether.
This is one of the weaker edits. Do look at the other ones in the description.

Maybe she should wear a skirt that can easier flow in the wind more often ;)
Someone should edit more scenes from the other movies and make it a reality :)
Edited
or she’s okay with that
A bit. Explosive force tends to push many things out of whack.

Does this animation make more sense >>1900671?
The other edits don’t make the dress look paper thin. I guess it’s the animation here where it scales down to zero and then scales up.
Any suggestion on how I could animate it better?
And as long as no one takes a look from behind, presumably.
Seems to work as long as there’s no gentle breeze ;)
It’s probably the worst animated of the bunch, and making no sense in context.
But it’s still great to watch :3
