Yeah. But why are her wings not melted like in the season 1 episode?
Alrighty then. Been a while since I watched these so with the lack of tags at first I had no idea what to make of this.
It’s official
What does that have to do with anything I asked? I’m wondering if this is official or fanart.
The wings are fake
Edited
I think that was the point.
Have you forgotten what the original wing spell used? The wings that Rarity had were made of Gossamer and morning dew, while capable of sustaining lift they could easily fall apart, and if in a situation where there is no solid surface in close proximity shile in flight, could spell disaster.
“There are a million million worlds. All different and all similar. Constants and Variables. We swim in different oceans but land on the same shore.” -Elizabeth, Bioshock Infinite
Normal lights, no, but camera and stage lights can get very, very hot. When I went to college for television courses it was common to turn off the lights first when packing up a shoot, and over five minutes later when we went to take them down the metal casings would still be warm. There was a reason the lighting kits all had gloves in them. Now, there are of course various covers and filters to go over the lights that are not going to be set on fire by them, but I’ll wager Rarity’s wings are made of those special papers.
That being said I have no way to verify if a stage light could get hot enough to actually set something on fire, because, well, I didn’t want to get kicked out of the program.
Lights are not suppose to get that hot.
This one could have ended up a BURNING disaster.
