I did, and yeah, I do not color things, and this issue being so strict in deadline I did not get a proper opportunity to even review the colored art before it was sent to print. But i would not assign blame to anywhere. the schedule was very strict on account of this issue having been squeezed in middle of normal publishing cycle.

Aye, lamented that myself to Ted, but the script was delayed twice, so the whole team was kinda pressed for time in this issue. I wanted to populate the streets with more background ponies too but I had to work 16 hour days just to hit my deadline as is. I am sure it was the same for Ted. And I am still pretty happy myself about the end result. And adding AJ’s parents might’ve faced even more changes on Hasbro’s end, in that tight timetable it likely was too risky to venture into.

I think I would say something like “Believe on yourself, don’t tell too much about you in real life and mainly in social media, don’t trust people too much and your/my parents aren’t perfect. Oh, and you’ll be attracted to girls AND boys! Don’t be scared if you start crushing on a boy, just be cool and don’t let others find out about it.”
