Noted. I don’t know which program you use, but it should have a gaussian blur filter option. Running that at a low blur level will accomplish a better result in just a few clicks.

Of course the focus is Twi. But promoting the focus of something over the background is usually accomplished by softening or blurring the background, rather than running it through JPEG compression set at 35% quality.
I like the image, it’s just the background is a little distracting due to how awful it looks in comparison, which has the exact opposite effect you want.

Maybe because the focus wasn’t on the bacground, but on Twi instead, so she sticks out more in the picture
