Mary sue’s are technically character who are written to be pretty much flawless, have next to no defining character traits, and suffer no conflict nor consequences in the context of their universe, almost expressively to serve the purpose of wish fulfillment or serf insertion,

Rainbow Dash isn’t a perfect character (her episodes haven’t been top tier since “Sonic Rainboom”), but she at least has an identifiable personality and distinctive quirks and flaws.
