It wouldn’t be Spike, but the claws are a good catch I had missed those. If my hypothesis about this being Sparity hadn’t already been disproven by the previous page this would have added support to it. Who else is a unicorn with claws though… hm, well if this is an alternate Applejack, could this also be an alternate Sparity? I keep coming back to her because she has the motive for it, she inherited the soul of the Nightmare as Rarity’s firstborn in exchange for Rarity resurrecting after she died. But the previous page established that not only has she been at this for years now, but that she hasn’t been able to see her mother that entire time and we know that Sparity has been with Rarity but if it’s an alternate Sparity that might still work and oh dear I’ve gone cross-eyed…
EDIT: and nvm apparently Sparity does not actually have claws. I guess that cements that this CAN’T be her then.
