After reacting to >>2048228, I couldn’t resist to use that same Equestria Daily article with >>1985169 in a similar vein to >>1985192. Unfortunely, due to >>2048228 is taken by mobile, I had to work my own by taking a screenshot of that article on browser mode instead to match the used materials found in >>1985192.
Yep, looks like this is probably from one of Hasbro’s plans, in which DHX have decided to put an end for now and signing off forever, also, this is what I’m also thinking back when Hasbro announces MLP G4 is ending, because I don’t think EqG won’t work to be continued for MLP G5, which I’ll be like “Really? G4 Equestria Girls continuing with MLP G5? That’s out of picture.”
I’m glad to see it’s coming to end now, when MLP G5 comes out, I would like to see Hasbro making a successor series to Equestria Girls for the MLP G5 timeline (yeah, DHX are no longer working with them, we got now have Boulder) with a new title, new characters (maybe, a brand new Humane Seven?), and new adventures to come, that would keep the popularity of humane MLP series even more growing with even more fans in the horizon.
YOU GREEDY DIRTBAG!!!
G5 isnt even confirmed yet.
Even if it does get confirmed according to the leaks, it wont be coming until 2022 at this point.
They need something to fill the gaps.
Karen previously tweeted, about 3 months ago, she was not aware of any intention to end EQG, just that DHX would not be working on it anymore.
Boulder is pretty clearly taking over.
No.Let it die
well they better be writing a damn good conclusion for it
I’m with you there. If it does transfer, I’ll always support the company for that. EQG must conclude.
don’t we all?
I really doubt there will be an ending at all.
Many of us forgot that the show and EqG shorts merely exist to promote a toy line. effectively a long commercial, no different than other shows based on toy lines.
And the reason they dont know, as well as for FiM ending, is that Hasbro decided to end the partnership between DHX and Hasbro entirely, so yeah. EQG wont be produced by DHX anymore. That is why they have been working with Boulder on the specials and summertime shorts, is to get them ready to take the series full time.
