Born 100,000 years ago
From the source:

Luna threw the doors open to her sister’s private quarters over the protest of the two guard posted there. Ignoring their pleas to not enter the mare strolled in with head held high as she headed for her final destination. The large four post canopy bed of her older sister.

Luna’s hoofsteps were muted by the muffled sound of an alarm clock continous ringing. The clock had been buried under a small pile/mountain of pillows. It was kept company by an even larger pile/mountain of blankets. Using her levitation she yanked the clock out from beneath the pillow. No longer buried the clocks relentless chiming now filled the room. The Princess of the Night stared at it for second then turned it off. With that accomplished she tossed it over her shoulder. It bounced and clanked across the floor. The Prussian Blue alicorn confronted the remaining large lump in the bed.

Once again using her levitation she yanked the blankets off the bed. Underneath them she found Celestia curled up and obviously trying to sleep. Luna frowned and took a deep breath. Then she addressed her sister.

In the Royal Canterlot voice. full

“GOOD MORNING MY DEAR SISTER! SURELY YOU REALIZE THAT SUNRISE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN RAISED 3 MINUTES AND 45 SECONDS AGO! I HATE TO SPOIL YOUR SLUMBER, BUT WOULD YOU PLEASE RAISE YOUR BLASTED SUN!”

Luna’s older sister winced at the acoustically barrage. Slowly she opened one eye. “Luna. Is it morning already? Why didn’t I hear my alarm clock?”

“Maybe because you banished it to the pillow equivalent of Tartarus!” Grumbled the younger siblings. “Now will you please raise the sun? The on-duty astronomer for the Royal Equestrian Astronomical Society is having an aneurysm about needing to adjust the tables for the rest of the year! I’ve already grown tired of her whining!”

The Princess of the Sun yawned and her horn began to glow brilliantly. This resulted in the yellow pillow protector attached to the tip of her horn to pop off and rolling across the bed. She ignored it and continued to fulfill her duty as the Co-Ruler of Equestria. After a minute of this the glow subsided. She looked at her sister.

“There. Are you satisifed?” She said in grumpy, sleepy voice.

Luna cocked an eyebrow. “Long night with the representatives from the Griffin Confederacy?”

“Yes.” Grumbled her sister. “And today is Sunday. My day off. So please leave, so I may return to my well earned sleep!”

With that declaration levitated the pillow protector back on to the tip of her horn. Then she lifted the blankets off the floor. She then began moving them back onto the bed when her sister noticed something under her left front leg.

“Sister is that stuffed doll of your prized student and the newly minted princess?”

Celestia looked down at the obvious doll of Twilight and then back at her sister. For briefest instant Luna thought she saw the tiniest bit of blush dance across her cheeks. Then her older sister promptly dumped the pile of blankets on top of herself.

“Go away!” She muttered from beneath the pile. Luna smiled and then slowly wandered away.

This is one of the drawings from last night’s Picarto Picarto Icon stream. It was a request drawing from the audience, but this is the story that popped into my head as I was drawing this picture.
