Sorry, Dash… but i don’t think you stand a chance in this particular contest.
A complete redo of one of my older edits: >>1885355
Was just messing around with both and began noticing similarities to the old pic, went to look back and nearly screamed into a pillow at how awful the old one looks. Since i posted the old one, Match has both provided me with many more lines to work with and has gotten much better, plus i’ve figured out a lot of different new things when it comes to stitching these edits together… so i decided to go all in and redo it.
Applejack’s body is the same one i used in these two pics: >>2038428 and >>2041002 (The base of which was taken from the linework of this pic on Match’s deviantart ) All i did here was tilt the legs and torso in to be more upright, then used custom lines he sent me to make the flexed bicep, otherwise i just picked out Applejack lines i had stored from other edits for the head, mane, tail, and hat.
Rainbow Dash’s head is completely new and was created using the line work of This picture from Match’s Deviantart as a base. The abs are a custom set I edited using more than a few abs shapes from his works and the arms are shrunk down versions of other arms i’ve used with some new lines on them for better detail. Dash head, mane, and tail were all provided from Match, and i just messed a bit with the sports bra to make it open to show cleavage.
This was an interesting one to do. First time i’ve used a smaller, more slender muscular physique on a character. Felt it would fit the theme of the pic better too since there isn’t all that much physical difference between them in the older pic.
Standard disclaimer: I AM NOT THE ARTIST nor did i draw ANY of the lines that were used to create this image so i claim ZERO ownership. All of the artwork and lines used belong to Matchstickman. I did construct some lines from scratch, but i used lines originally drawn by Match to piece them together so i do not claim credit there either. I am just a big fan of his and his work is fun to mess with in photoshop. 100% of the credit goes to him because i could not make these without him drawing his own stuff first and i only upload these here because he is okay with it.

I don’t understand why you think their armwrestling was so different than any other armwrestling but this seems to be the hill you’re willing to die on, so whatevs I guess.
That’s why I said the “arm wrestling they were engaged in”
And yea you don’t have call it the basis and it’s true 8 seasons have passed but I’m gunna use that episode until there is something else. You can have your head canon tho.
Arm-wrestling also uses more than just your arms. People who armwrestle also use their shoulders, back, and lower body to win.
And it doesn’t make sense to take one instance and call it the “basis” without factoring in the other one; Dash didn’t get a strength upgrade between those matches. It makes more sense to factor in both and judge it from there.
Would Dash win again if they hoof wrestled now? possibly, but we don’t know for sure. And you definitely can’t say for certain that she has bigger/stronger arms 8 whole seasons later as if AJ could never match her in armwrestling ever again; Applejack’s proven to be no slouch in the strength department.
Certain activities require input from other parts of the body while other others don’t. The arm wrestling they were engaged in was purely arm based. Push-ups are actually a full body workout with emphasis not only on triceps but on pecs, shoulders, etc.
that one instance is the latest instance, so if there was another then that would be the latest instance, but there isn’t so Fall Weather Friends is the basis.

I don’t think you can just ignore overall body strength though. It’s not like they weren’t using their forelegs when they had a tug-of-wars or when they both tried stopping that cart. And they also both tied in push-ups until Dash used her wings which was “arm”-focused.
And again, since they also tied in armwrestling, Dash isn’t so adamantly one-up on AJ. That record tells us that she can’t so easily do it every time so I don’t see how one instance alone means that she has stronger arms or that she beats AJ every time.

Those strength challenges were not arm focused however. If we just talken arms then Dash one’s up. And in Fall Weather Friends Rainbow is made to look as if she does beat her very easily.

Jackie also beat Dash in every other strength contest in “Fall Weather Friends,” like tug-of-war. She’s proven to be overall stronger than Dash, both in FWF and after.
I bring it up that they tied once in armwrestling because it shows that Dash clearly can’t win easily every time.
They’ve tied before, but that was in “The Ticket Master” which happens before “Fall Weather Friends.” And Rainbow does say that Applejack is strong but the context is Applejack used her hindlegs to stop the cart and with a different method than Rainbow Dash.
Well now cuz we are in conversation when was the last time you saw a really buff farm girl? I mean even the men who get strong don’t have a body like that unless they workout proper XD

Well In “fall weather friends” rainbow beats applejack in arm wrestling so that’s what I was saying and it’s made to look as if it took little effort
Yeah, I agree. Might be because I’m also biased towards RD.
edit: if that’s the contest that is…. either way likely Rainbow has bigger arms.

On my large photoshop doc for the applejack body i have a layer that slaps RD’s head right on it xD. (Have about 6 other characters on other layers too). I always have the docs labeled by the original character intended, so in this case it was Spitfire, but i always end up with 5-6 swappable heads on it. I think for this body i have Spitfire, Fleetfoot, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Pear Butter, Twilight, and Rarity (Twi and rara are a little rough around the edges since i had to pull lines from very old works, but they look decent.)
