It literally open a possibility that Discoshy is canon. It all depend whether you dismiss Angel Bunny or not. And majority of fans will have no reason to dismiss it unless they really don’t like this ship. This same happens with LyraBon and DerpyxBulkBiceps. Most fans are aware that this is a teased ship, but if youre really hate those ships you can always headcanon that they are all just siblings or just friends.

Again, I don’t even need to be a shipper to see it as canon. The show mate it clear with angel pointing out that Fs want to marry Discord. You can use headcanons to dismiss it, but in the end, the direct message of that scene was to reveal Fluttershy’s intentions. Any non shipping person will figure out Fluttershy’s desires from now on.

I could argue you’re ignoring my points, as well, but I don’t wanna keep this going forever frankly.
 
I dunno, as I said, a quadruped yellow mortal pony, marrying an incomprehensible, eldrich abomination, ageless, spirit of chaos just doesn’t seem likely to me, (you have to admit, the pairing is a li’l odd) and as I said Lauren Faust herself was against the Mane 6 even having normal boyfriends, (hate to pull the “Faust” card, but it does seem like the staff have honored that mandate, seeing as none of the main characters have a BF or anything) so I just don’t see it happening.  
Things like Discord being jealous of Tree-Hugger, having tea-parties. and such are things that arguably happen in platonic relationships too, and Fluttershy blushing doesn’t mean much, as characters blush mostly during non-romantic moments, and it just shows her shyness.
 
You don’t need to keep smugly writing off my opinions, I have just as many valid reasons to believe it’s not canon, as you do to think it is. (And in the end, does it even matter which of us is wrong?)
 
Honestly, I have nothing against DiscoShy in fanon, (I’ve even faved a few well done pics of it) but I still don’t see it as canon, I just see them as good close friends. No offense, but it feels like alot of fans see the show through ‘shipper goggles too much, and automatically assume any kind gesture between any two characters is a huge romantic thing.  
I guess ‘cause I’m one of the very few bronies not very into ‘shipping, I don’t have that bias, but that doesn’t mean I’m incapable of spotting romance teases, and such, at all. I remember “CheeriMac” was kinda teased in the show, as well long after “Hearts & Hooves Day” aired, (some try to argue that episode canonized “CheeriMac,” but technically it didn’t) but nothing came of it, and Mac fell for, and started dating Sugar Belle instead.
 
That said, I actually used to kinda like CheeriMac, but it didn’t destroy me that it wasn’t canon. Besides, as I said, just because a ‘shipping isn’t canon, doesn’t mean fans can’t enjoy it. Fans can still enjoy DiscoShy even if it isn’t.

You are just ignoring the contexts and moving the goalposts while ignoring obvious implications like Angel and Spike implying it directly to the audience. But it doesn’t matter, majority of viewers will be able to add 1+1 together and deduce that they will eventually get married.

Also, if you assume they’re in love, just because Fluttershy blushed, then she & Angel must be in love too, because they both blushed several times in their new episode.

But it is implied that they would do it after S9 ends. When characters end up attracted to eachother but the show ends without confirmation, people tend to assume they did married eachother rather than assume that they stayed single or found different love interest.

Sure, but the point still stand. You can’t dismiss the scene or epiosde because certain writer wrote it. I personally would remove Matter of Principals and Spike at Your service as non canon because they feature their characters as OOC and they dont make sense. But we still treat it as canon and need to fit their behavior into the story and come up with headcanons that justify it.

Well this is just you being biased on that ship. The show staff noticed that ship as much as Disocshy shippers. Now both Spike and Angel Bunny pointed out this ship to the audience.

I dunno, I don’t think that means they were planning it, or anything really. The show has honestly never been that romantically focused. Sure, there are a few things like Cadance & Shining Armor getting hitched, but that was basically a one time thing, and their relationship hasn’t been explored much sense. Meaniwhile Spike just has an innocent little kid-crush on an older babe he respects, (but usually that’s just for comic relief) but that doesn’t mean anything will come of it, as he doesn’t age, and frankly Rarity digging a li’l kid would be very wrong.  
Even things like Mac & Sugar Belle are pretty minor focused, or rarely mentioned.
 
Big Mac, and Maude get love-interests, because frankly they’re not main characters, and as I said the show has never been that romantically focused. It’s more focused on platonic relationships, or “friendships,” I feel, so there’s really not much benefit to giving the Mane 6 boyfriends, which as I stated Faust mandated against, as well to avoid the show becoming too “girly show cliché’d.”

Just because a character like Derpy talks, or interacts with, or is very nice to “Dr. Hooves” doesn’t make them a romantic couple either. That’s basically how I feel about those, as well. I don’t think those are canon at all.
 
Honestly, why do they have to be canon? Fans can still enjoy those ’ships regardless if they are, or not, and fans are free to ’ship them with other characters if they wish too.

Since its hard to convince Hasbro to canonize Mane6 I assume it is confirmed that Mane6 won’t get boyfriend. Otherwise he would be aware that it is possible to give mane6 boyfriends/girlfriends. But it looks like the S9 will end without confirmation of any major pairing.
