Sai Paint Tool, and I think FireAlpaca, have a fake vectoring tool that allows for fairly clean line work. I’d recommend just using Inkscape, but I’m biased because I’m used to it
I’ve experimented with it in the past, with varying degrees of success. Unfortunately, given how small I draw, tracing an image in illustrator ends up with multiple lines being merged into a single shape. Can’t say I’ve tried it with a bit mapped image though that I can recall.
It’s food for thought, but I’d be a little reluctant. Past tracings have removed some of the character I feel.
I usually add the annoying, but useful extra step of vectorizing the artwork, which smooths the lines up and gets rid of most of the smaller noise. Inkscape or Illustrator can do that. Not sure if there’s any other simpler programs that can do that, though. <:)
@ABronyAccount
I’m not the artist, but this has happened to me when I inked drawings traditionally, scanned the lineart in as pretty much just 2-color black and white for digital coloring. Applying a stark 2-tone palette to hand-drawn art tends to produce “noise” which manifests as speckles of black on white or white on black, since the lines aren’t captured smoothly if there’s no greyscale gradient.
Wouldn’t be surprised if BtD works about the same way.

Twilight Snapple strikes back again
I really appreciate people who try and stick to the real schedule.
It wouldn’t really clarify anyway. If I’m early the following day (Such as tomorrow) I’ll watch the leaked episode the morning of the official broadcast (Official broadcasts not happening in the UK till 4:30pm) and then get drawing early.
I’ll always wait till the official broadcast has aired though before posting, just to help out people like me who still want to try and stick the the official schedule.
