Little history lesson for all you horse fanatics;  
The 76th Infantry Division was destroyed in Stalingrad January 1943. The unit was reformed and in 1944 fought in Romania, suffering heavy losses and ending up combat ineffective. What was left of the unit surrendered in 1945 in what is today’s western Czech Republic.
