“She can still fly, but it’s not easy. With a literal ton of belly hanging below her, all it took was a little turbulence to send her crashing into the mountain below. Were she some other creature, her belly may not have held together. But dragon scales are tough, and her growing brood was protected by their mother’s firm belly.
