The unfortunate side effect of spending several hours straight with four to six witty individuals is that character-based memes tend to stick to your character. If someone says something funny about your character and everyone laughs or finds it strikingly accurate, chances are it’ll become a part of how you play that character, if you let it.

Twilight Sparkle: I use Dimension Door to teleport to the other side.
Rarity: I achieved a 26 on my Acrobatics roll to jump across! Do I make it?
DM: Hmm… Yes, that’ll do. You’re safely across.
Rainbow Dash: Ah, what the heck. I’ll grab the bard and carry her across.
Pinkie Pie: Thanks!
Rainbow Dash: <roll> Yeah, that’ll do.
Applejack: <roll> Jumpin’ with a whoppin’ 30 on Athletics.
DM: Great. That’s five ponies across the chasm. Which just leaves Fluttershy. How will you get across?
Fluttershy: Um… I… I don’t know.
DM: Don’t know what, exactly?
Fluttershy: I don’t know if I can do it.
Rainbow Dash: Is the whole “afraid of heights” thing canon now? Is that what’s going on here?
