I remember my friend showing me one crazy parody and how i was looking for more similar ones that led me to fandom ^^  
ach… good times :)

I was actually introduced to the series through a parody video on youtube (i dont remember its title sadly). One day it popped up in my recommended videos and I was curios, I always wondered why Mlp was getting so popular with adults so i watched the parody (which used part of several episodes btw) and thought to myself: its looking kinda nice why not give the first 3 episodes a try and eversince i was hooked.
 
It is the only time I thank youtube for its recommended videos XD

yeah, I remember seeing the screenshots of the early episodes on 4chan back in November 2010.
 
I thought to myself “huh, this animation actually looks cute. Should I try watching it? I then found it on YouTube, watched the first few episodes that came out by then… and was hooked up.

Apparently it all started when some guy on 4chan was like “hey let’s watch this show and make fun of it” then they actually started to like it… GG Lauren Faust and Hasbro
