I myself play this game, I recently completed tasks in an evergreen forest)

What I wonder is if for G5 they would make another app or simply add the G5 ponies and towns to this one.

Fortunately the game doesn’t require an online connection (like the Flintstones: Bring Back Bedrock for example) so if Gameloft ever stops supporting it, the worst that would happen is that there won’t be anything left to buy once you clear out the store, finish all the quests, and unlock all the expansion areas.
 
You wouldn’t be able to give and receive hearts from your friends or visit their towns. And you wouldn’t be able to buy any more bits or gems with real money (but I can’t see them ever taking that part down).
 
You would still be able to look at your town and the ponies walking around. And do the group quests (which are the same every time). Play all the minigames like the minecart and the Equestria Girls dance ones if you like them.
